PERSONAL EXPERIENCE
Enrique Viteri-Aldunate is credited with pioneering exploration in the now famous Maricunga Gold Belt and emerging Vicuna Copper Belt.
Having spent a decade with Anglo American in the 1980s, when Anglo was the first to explore in the region, Enrique got to lead the very first drill holes for Caspiche, now a multi-billion dollar asset with 58-Million ounces of gold.
Enrique was also involved in exploration & development for the renowned Maricunga Gold Mine (Refugio), which was once considered the largest gold mine in Chile, accounting for 15% of all the country’s gold.
In the early 1990s, Enrique personally staked the Yastai/Nemesis (Penoles: $7-Billion) asset, as well as the Toro-Tolita complex. He elected to keep Tolita & Toro for himself, up until partnering with Vicunau and joining our Board of Directors.
